Unwrpd was the result of many conversations with my friend, Daniel Hemsley on how to best tackle the plague of single use plastic that we found ourselves in.
We created a bespoke subscription service that allowed you to pick a selection of common alternatives to plastic free and receive them on a frequency you decided.
It was rewarding building a business end-to-end: dealing with user experience, payment APIs, database design, packaging and more.
Ultimately Unwrpd evolved into Beagle, which Daniel now runs. When we started there was very few sustainable products easily available, now thanks to the hard work of companies like our suppliers you can find bamboo toothbrushes, plastic free soap and eco-friendly sunscreen on the high street as consumer demand has shifted.
